Club Orientation To Sailing With KSA

This Welcome Aboard Sail will take place aboard the Michael Leslie which

is a 40' Caliber Cutter.
The date is Sunday May 19th with a start time of 1030am  There is a 918am from Penn Station that
arrives at Port Washington station at 1005am   We can provide a pickup there.

We will sail from Manhassett Bay Marina at 10 Matinecock Ave Port Washington NY  11050

Please dress appropriately as this time of year can be pretty chilly.....and unless the weather
provides an unsafe condition we normally do not cancel so be prepared.

The class will begin on the dock and we will then sail......................Lunch and basic beverages will be provided.  You will be expected to share in the lunch
expense.

Please do not plan anything early in the evening as we most likely will not get back to the
dock before 5pm. 

This orientation will provide you with basic rules of safety on the water, general boating characteristics
as well as a basic understanding of sailing principles. 

Most importantly we will have a good time.....
BYOB.....bathing suit.......sunscreen......appropriate footwear......(no dark sole shoes....or heels)
