2011 Pinewood Boat Winning Entry

Race Details

To participate in the sailboat race you must purchase an official pinewood sailboat kit which is available
at the monthly meeting or you may place an order via email to mailto:srk1252@aol.com (note.... there is additional charge for shipping). The cost of the boat kits are $20.00.

There will be a prize for best decorated boat. People attending the event will be able to bet on the sailboat races. The winners will split 50% of the pot with the winning captain and 50% will be donated to God's Love We Deliver and PFLAG NYC Safe Schools. This is the chance for everyone to be the captain of their own sailboat.

Dinner

The dinner will be held in the Newport club house. This is a potluck so bring your favorite dish and/or drinks to share. The event will happen at the Newport Marina
in the Clubhouse. This is a free event is open to all members and guest.

Newport captains will supply plates, napkins, utensils. Anyone that would like to assist and can help with coolers will be helpful. Heating foods may be limited.

Proceeds from our Pride Weekend Events will be donated to God's Love We Deliver and PFLAG New York Safe Schools Program.
