Overnight Anchorage and raft-up behind Statue of Liberty/State Park

8-20 ft, mud, good holding, some abandoned tackle.

Dinghy and/or transient dockage at Liberty Landing marina, Honorable Wall, Marina restaurants, Jersey City/ brewery/Surf City/restaurants/ferry service and gas docks are 24hrs.

Friday Morning: 10/7

Flood current reverses north at 04:00

Follow current up river to Ossining or Croton on Hudson

First night best at Ossining: Westerly Marina/Shattamuc Yacht Club (easy restaurants/metro north

Saturday 10/8 : Sail to Garrison or stay in

Flood current begins at 6:30

Croton: Beautiful Half Moon Bay Cove for anchorage and raft-up : Rainbow regatta in Haverstraw Bay

Half Moon Bay Marina for dockage

Pot-luck, or dinner at restaurants depending, 20 min walk to train/restaurant, excellent parking.

Sunday 10/9 Sail to Chelsea Yacht Club

or 

Enjoy areas near West Point, Explore Newburgh, Beacon, Cold Springs, StormKing, Chelsea Yacht Club, etc. Move flotilla north to Newburgh or Chelsea, Beacon Bridge and south unless perfect conditions, remain put where arrived.

Monday, 10/10 Return and disperse
