Welcome

This year we plan to meet in Eastchester Bay, on the western side of City Island .  We have reserved moorings at the Harlem Yacht Club.

Captains, to secure your mooring, please register on this site ASAP, and include your boat length and draft. A
$35 a night mooring fee can be paid when you arrive.

Harlem Yacht Club is located at 417 Hunter Ave, City Island, The Bronx, NY 10464. It's accessible by road (take City Island exit off I-95), rail (see below) and, of course, sea (Longitude: 73° 47' 24'' W
Latitude: 40° 51' 00'' N).  The mooring field is a short launch ride from the clubhouse.

We will be updating this information regularly and will forward update emails to event registrants, so please register as early as possible.

There are three registration types.

(A) Captains bringing their boats
(B) Crew already assigned, made arrangements with a captain to be on board
(C) Crew who would like to participate, but not assigned to a boat.  [By selecting this option, there is no guarantee we will be able to place you on a boat, however we we make every effort to do such.]

*In addition to registering for the flotilla itself, if you plan to attend our gala dinner event and karaoke competition, you must sign up for that event separately.

For captains visiting City Island for the first time, the Harlem Yacht Club mooring field is on the western side of City Island in Eastchester Bay. The only way to get to it from Long Island Sound is from the south (a low bridge connecting the island to the mainland makes a northern approach impossible).

As you head up the bay from the Sound remember to keep red buoy No. 2 and No. 4 ("Big Tom") to your starboard and Cuban Ledge to your port. Harlem generally appreciates it if you do not call them ("Harlem launch") until you reach green buoy No 7.

For those needing fuel or a pump out, the fuel dock is on the northern tip of City Island. Unfortunately, for our purposes, the low bridge means that you've got to go around the entire island to get to it. The trip takes 20-30 minutes each way under power from Harlem YC.
