  • Use this registration if you are bringing your boat to the flotilla
  • Use this registration if you are registering as a crew AND YOU HAVE A BERTH ALREADY ARRANGED ON A BOAT.
  • Use this registration if you have NOT made arrangements for a berth on a boat. Note: This type of registration does NOT guarantee you will be assigned a berth! All members and guests are encouraged to work with Captains in arranging their own accommodations.

Mystic/ Block Island/ Martha's Vineyard w/ Possible Rainbow Rally



Here's the itinerary:

Fri./ Sat. August 7 and 8 Mystic Seaport Waterfront. Amazing destination, and accessible by train --  https://www.mysticseaport.org/visit/plan-your-visit/mystic-seaport-marina/ 

Individual boats from KSA and YCC will be gathering on the historic Mystic Seaport waterfront (reservations required and going FAST) for an outdoor party with a Commodore Cocktail Hour Friday and Saturday night. Isaac has also prepared a trivia game with special prizes. Mystic is a great place to provision and the museum is included in the docking reservation.

KSA 2020 Midsummer Nautical Trivia Contest - 8:30pm Sat. Aug 8th, Location: Captain and Crew on their respective boats, Questions to be called out on Channel 69.

Sunday, August 9 early morning Sail to Block Island with a possible Rainbow Rally (35 nm).

Anchor, Dock or Mooring. http://www.new-shoreham.com/displaydept.cfm?id=11  Afternoon drinks/snacks/swimming on ocean beach -- meet up on Scotch Beach via Dinghy Beach   http://www.blockislandinfo.com/island-events/dinghy-beach .  Dinner on shore at the Oar, in town or on boats.


Monday, August 10 Lay Day on Block Island, or leave early am to reach Tarpaulin Cove with Flood Tide in Nantucket Sound (50nm).  We want to arrive by 1PM in Vineyard Sound to catch the flood. We will look at weather forecast and make decision on August 9.


Tues./ Wed. August 10 or 11 Tarpaulin Cove on Naushon Island.. Beautiful unspoiled spot. https://www.savebuzzardsbay.org/places-to-go/tarpaulin-cove-beach/  pot luck dinner.


Thurs./ Fri. August 11 or 12 afternoon sail to Edgartown outer harbor, Chappy Beach (18nm). https://www.edgartownharbor.com/anchorage.  Wonderful swimming, can dinghy to light house, and the launch will pick up and take you to town. 


Sat./ Sun. August 13 or 14 Some of Fleet start sailing back West while other continue on to P-town and beyond.
