Public Travel Suggestions   Take the LIRR from Penn Station to Port Washington and arrange a pickup.  You will need to be in the 619am from Penn that Arrives at Port Washington at 705am 
Breakfast and Lunch will be provided along with basic beverages.  You will be expected to share in the expense.
Weather does not cancel unless it's a safety issue.  Bring clothes appropriate for the temperature (subtract ~10 degrees on water) 
Bring Sunscreen
